Inspired by the music salons of 18th and 19th century Europe in which musicians gathered to showcase their musical talents or new compositions, Queer Music Midwest and Sower Books invites musicians and artists from Lincoln, NE and surrounding areas to exhibit their talents at the Lincoln Music Salon.
LMS will be held on Saturday May 23rd starting at 2pm at Sower Books in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event is free and open to the public!
This edition of the Lincoln Music Salon invites musical performances up to 10 minutes in length that are related to LGBTQ+ rights, history, and culture, or broader themes of resistance against oppression and tyranny. The interest form is open to anyone living in or around Lincoln, Nebraska!
